A while ago, I was sitting in a restaurant in Bimini minding my own business.  I had a powerful connection with Natalia, the waitress.  For some reason out of my mouth came "Natalia, what do you think about doing an event for the women of Bimini to empower, uplift and connect?", and she said "that is the best thing I've heard in a long time, can I help you?".  I had no idea how it was going to happen......keep reading though, there is so much grace in this story....it will open your heart wide! 


Your flow:   The next day I was at the 'straw market' and I talked to a woman named Micheline, who I found out is the head of the women's group for the Haitian Church.  Then she told me that she met 3 of my friends that day (go figure, the chances were pretty slim of that!).  She asked me "how can I help you bring women together", and I said how about this Monday, and she said "our women's group has a meeting already on Monday, can you come and speak?".  Yes yes yes!!!!!


Let Go of the Oars: THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED - All 6 Women from our Bimini group here, said that this was the most profound experience of their trip.  The night with the Haitian women of Bimini was absolute magic.  There was one woman from Nassau as well.  Haitian women feel mis-understood and on the outside, and the Nassuvian woman explained she felt the same way.  We partnered up, and each woman from Bimini shared with a woman from somewhere else........and we realized we are all the same.  We cried, we laughed, we opened our hearts.........the Pastor's wife was there and explained to the pastor (the next day) what happened.  We saw him the next day  (by Divine intervention), and he told us that it was life changing ....and we told him for us, it was also life changing.  He said that the church had planted the seeds, God had shone the light, and that our message was the beautiful rain that helped the seeds to grow.


Let go of figuring out 'how' in your life.........allow Creation to live through you, and what shows up might be dolphins, it might be rain and it might be friendships that last a lifetime.......you can guarantee it will be worth the 'not knowing'. 


What a blessing that we are so taken care of by all of the Universe, when we simply say YES......(insert sigh of relief here)

Consider that Creation is constantly delivering the path, the clarity and the answers....and the harder we work, the less we see it.  It's humbling to know how little we need to know about life, to actually participate in the expanding miracles. Today I was looking to be of assistance with a project to go to Africa....and the answer showed up simply by writing one word......  The word was yes.


Your flow: What if life is always, and was always bringing to us what is in the highest good for all?  What if our job is simply to be present enough to engage what shows up?   What if judgment is just the ego's way of taking us out of simplicity and keeping itself alive?


Let Go of the Oars: Of course the Universe would have to re-arrange things to give us the illusion that it isn't right there all the time.....and when we are tired of needing to justify our existence with effort, we'll simply enjoy the dance.  Do you give?  Uncle?

Hey there friends,

What if it's all coming to you?  What if your job is simply to get out of the way, and enjoy the journey.  Sometimes we spend time trying to strategize, do it our way, do it the way the books, community, culture or courses say....and that involves the head.  Your heart is speaking to you in every moment, and transcends anyone else's philosophy, because it speaks the language of the present.  It is sooooo simple to live this way.

Your flow:   In every moment, consciousness is calling you to something. The mind has lots of rationales why you can't do that.....for me it's often time.....and that I make things seem more complicated than they are.  The more I simply let go of the judgment of what life keeps bringing me, the more easy it all gets.  Oh sure, there's stuff to do, and I find people I love to do that with....more importantly, we find each other.

Let Go of the Oars: All I know is what is in front of me right now today....and I have some ideas about the future.  Recently decided to entirely let life facilitate me, and simply hold my ideas about the future losely, so that 'what's in the highest good for all' can show up.  It's usually a lot more filled with wonder, turns out better, and is drastically simplified when I live that way. 

What a blessing that we are so taken care of by all of the Universe, when we simply say YES......(insert sigh of relief here)

I had quite the aha in the ocean. I was alone and feeling sad.  I picked myself up and went to the ocean, to swim and play with some fish and water.  I got in at a place that I knew doesn't usually have a tonne of coral or fish, and it's still pretty and there is still lots of life there.  At first I just wanted validation that everything was going to be okay with me, and all of a sudden a beautiful school of "arrow" fish (that's what I call 'em, because the lines on them point forward) came by.....and these fish seemed to be quite friendly and stayed close.  Suddenly I didn't feel so alone.


Your flow:   I realized very quickly that if I spent my time looking for signs and validation, that I would miss out on the beautiful blossoming miracle.  I don't know if the fish came up with the idea, or I did.....but all of a sudden I felt that they were gonna show me that we were in 'communication'.  So I asked them to bring me to something amazing, that I could not deny because it was soooooo extra-ordinary...and they 'pointed' at something alright, as we took a sharp left as soon as I asked.........


They pointed directly to a school of thousands of batefish right in front of my face, who swam all around me in a donut as my "pointer" friends swam away.  Thanks friends......


Let Go of the Oars: We are alive....do we really need to keep getting proof of our blessed nature?  We are part of life and nature....seeing if we can trust life, is really seeing if we can trust ourselves.  We didn't come here to look for a sign, we came here dance with all that life is offering us.  One person's sign is another's experience in the adventure in wonderland.

Hey there friends,


This might have happened to you where your technology pooches when you've got a lot of energy moving.  It seems that in our office, our computers are perfect reflections of how our energy is flowing.  Today, we had a lot of internet challenges.  On, off, on, off all day long.  Now in my past, I would have complicated it.  I would have worked hard to fix it, find a place in the Universe that had a connection (going so far as to drive there), and wrestled it to the ground, to get the end result that my 'personality' wanted.  I don't do that anymore........


Your flow - Oh, it happens with our kids, in relationships, with our weight and more.....  That is how we complicate life....we start thinking we know the answers.  Ha!  Today, what I did, is went for a walk, made lots of phone calls to people I love, had fun walking in the woods with the dog......everything but be online.  I did talk to the techs at 'Bell-Canada' without resolution.....until this latest one I called, who was awesome - and provided me with answers about things I've been looking for for a year!  I just assumed that what was going on was perfect, took action, did other stuff, and let Creation work out the details and delivered the usual "or better" response!


Let Go of the Oars – These days, the majority of what happens to us, is a result of the Universe's response to our 'greater knowing', which is beyond intentions.  So judging what comes into our experience is kinda pointless.  It's not time to judge, it's time to simply dance with all of it.  It really is so simple...it's just we don't always like what shows up.  Oh well........
  
My way is over-rated.  I love the simplicity that comes when I remember that Creation is responding always to the greater me...not my mind.  How about you?

Hey there friends,

Currently we are engaged in what I thought was a project  to build 2 new websites.  I thought the project was all about the usual "business evolutionary expansive sharing the message" kinda stuff.  Ha!  The journey of this project has been nothing less than astoundingly eye opening......I almost forgot it was about a website!

Your flow:  This is just some of what we've learned during the project: the knowing that you can trust another human being to actually work through even the hardest to talk about issues in life, that harmony is always possible when you are wiling to be vulnerable, that being indirect does not do anyone any favours, that love is all there is.....and separation & judgment is just the ego's way of preserving itself, that leadership sometimes means being willing to let go of everything you think and love to stay congruent.........and when you do, the 'or better' inevitably comes back to you!

Let Go of the Oars: Dive into whatever you do with abandon.  Love, work, friends, play....oh and it's all play when you dive in.  You have a huge opportunity to participate in a passionate expansive journey, and surrender to the not knowing.  Does it require faith?  Nahhh, just a little courage, until you find out life was never out to get you.......it was there to serve you all along.  Do your best........ and just enjoy the unfolding wonder of your personal juicy Big Picture.   


Are you open to the idea that what you are going through is about something much bigger than what you see?  Combine that with the fact that the Universe loves you.......and I think it all adds up to a little more peace maybe......ya think?

Your flow:  What can slow the experience of love in your life?  Well, contemplating the other person... Looking for rational reasons for their 'incompatiability'...  Thinking you 'know' what is right for you. 

Let Go of the Oars:  Let life bring you the answers, morph the situations, and deliver you the conversations.  Love not only moves mountains, it moves blocks, moves Universe's and most certainly will move life in the direction of fluidity.  No need for patience.  Let it percolate and expect the inevitable.

England is a magical place.  Every day, I am reminded of the degree to which the Universe has my back in ways that just humble me deeply and bring a smile to my face.  One such event, was an astounding 10 minute cab ride with Mick whose daughter died in March this year......though I suspect she is not the only angel.  (his full name was Michael of course, what else would it be?)


Your flow - I jumped in a cab with a driver who seemed to be fairly jolly and straight forward in nature....Mick.  We didn't say much at first, then I asked him who was in the heart framed picture in his rear view mirror.  He said it was of Rose and Millie, his two daughters.  Rosie passed on in March, he explained, and yet you could tell from his words that she had inspired him tremendously.  In fact, he explained that she was not supposed to live and through a series of miracles that he and his girlfriend had been blessed entirely by her life, and the miracles abounded even in her passing years later.  He said a few things that I will never forget:


1. That you can be happy and sad at the same time.......it's okay


2. You can't really keep up with God/the Universe, unless you give the wisdom away


3. If you can bless a stranger, do.........(and he did)


Let Go of the Oars – We can get caught up in the minutia of every day, and forget that angels are all around us.  They bless us all the time, if we are present enough to let the blessing in.  Thank you Mick, Rosie and Millie for blessing me in a magical cab ride from Heaven.

Grace abounds.  Someone asked me recently what my definition of grace was.....and I could only think of examples: sunset colours, 98% of my body operating without me, breathing, the unconditional love of a pet, that trees breathe out what we breathe in and vice versa........


Your flow - What if all we have ever wanted or needed is and always has been in front of us (even if it comes in perceptively funny packages)?......that is grace.  For the most part, what gets in the way is our ego's judgment of what life presents us.  Do we ask: Why would we get in the way of grace?  or perhaps better: How can we find our effortless flow more?


Let Go of the Oars – The cool thing is, even if we do judge, the love of the Universe trumps the ego.....so don't worry, you will always be guided back on track.....it's just when we go kicking and screaming,  the journey might not seem so pretty.  Let go of the oars, the river is already taking you.......enjoy.....dance with it....engage your love affair with life.
 
When 30-60 trillion cells can talk to each other without your involvement, maybe that kind of flow might be available in all areas of life? Maybe it's happening right now?  Maybe life loves you so much it doesn't matter that sometimes you don't notice?  Maybe it's all much simpler than we make it?  I'm just saying!......

To expect those around you to be perfect, is generally a symptom that you likely do that to yourself as well.  Let me ask you..... according to whose definition of perfect is your safety or happiness truly dependent on everything being a certain way?  Can you make your life about something other than getting it perfect, or having someone else get it right?


Your flow -  When someone else judges you, remember, it's not yours.....it started over there.  All that matters is congruence with your own heart.  You may or may not need to take responsibility for a mess......learn, grow, accept and move on........they may not.  Big deal.  Be the change.


Let Go of the Oars – I wonder what would happen in the world if we took all the energy we used to avoid judgment, judge, get it right, validate ourselves or feel safe and used it to look for evidence of beauty, find compassion for things that are sub-optimal, search for signs of love, and laugh at our wonderful humanness?  World peace?  I'm just saying.....................

The Call to Love no Matter What......Even When it's Hard

Have you ever had upset with someone you love dearly? 
Especially someone that you never thought you'd have an upset with?
Me too.

I felt inspired to write about this, because this is not the first time it has occurred to me that maybe there is a bigger picture at play, in these vastly changing times.  Especially when it comes to challenges of communication and misunderstandings with those we love.

First, let's talk about love.  If you truly love someone, you just love them.  No amount of ick, can take away the love.....it is simply an 'is'.  No divorce, break up, distance or egoic justification will mess with the love.  That's why our minds have such a hard time with it, because inside we know.....and it doesn't make sense to the mind to be at odds.

Trust comes to mind next.  When we are having a challenge with a situation, often one or both parties can get defensive or feel hurt.  Really, it's the ego that feels hurt, and gets defensive.  The truth is that who the other person is, is exactly who you know them to be.  Love and kindness. 

They or/and you just temporarily forgot who they are as a Divine Child of God. Can you trust your inner knowing of who they are, and can you trust yourself to stay in love, when talking to them?  that is the question.  Usually, when we don't feel called to resolve the issue, it's only because it is perceptively  safer to stay away.  Sometimes we need  a long time away from them, so that we can get grounded again and come back to love.  Just remember, no friend, therapist, psychic or 3rd party will ever replace your initial instinct about who that person is, the purity of their essence and the nature of your relationship with someone, or about who they are.

The problem - sometimes over time, we get to see the other's imperfections.  Our old patterns.  But are we looking for perfection, or for someone that we trust so much that we can work through anything........that is just giving our power away.  Or are we looking to trust ourselves enough to come from love no matter what.  In relationships, it is not that people show us 'who they really are' over time.......it's that based on each others' reactions to ego, we forget who we are if we don't stay conscious.  You can never trust the ego.  And you can always know that we are awakening, and remembering the Truth of who we are...........and ego keeps dissolving, if you can stay in your heart. 
I used to believe what Maya Anjelou says: "when someone shows you who they are believe them the first time"......now I think it's more like "your instinct about the essence of someone is always right.....be willing to give up your judgment to see who someone really is.  Annnd, take the time to ground, if you or they are forgetting who you are (acting like a jerk) ...come back to find harmony at some point."

The beauty of it all - if you are willing to trust life, and are lucky enough to have friends and loved ones that are willing to see things about themselves that don't work and see you as who you really are........and are willing to grow and expand into ever more freedom form the past....then you are looking at a truly optimal and fulfilling relationship ........because you just know it will all work out.

Feeling safe - sometimes in life we have had evidence that it does not always work out.  Just because you have evidence, does not make it true. SOMETIMES WE ARE JUST TAKING SCORE TOO SOON.

Compassion in friendship - You can stay mad or upset the rest of your lives if you like.  You have that option.  You can get your friends to take sides, you can be sad and mope, you can move on in righteous indignation....however....and this is a big however.....

IN THESE TIMES OF GREAT CHANGE - we are all part of the shift on this planet, when we come from love, compassion and a willingness to be the change, we actually shift life not just for ourselves, but we are of service to the entire globe.  By coming back to the innocence and purity of love, anything can be resolved when 2 present people are involved.    You are either part of the inevitable expansion of peace within and without......or you are other than that.   If you harbour any unresolved issues about another, you are contributing to the illusion of separation.  Ignoring an issue is not peace......resolution is peace..and that shifts the planet.   How can we not have compassion for another, when we have done the same thing.......bought into the illusion of separation.

LOVE AND ASSISTANCE: I don't know, maybe something is wrong with me that I feel/know that anything can be worked through if we come at it from love.    Call me Polly-anna.  I will continue to believe that.......and continue to dissolve those parts of me that are in reaction to the past, so that I too can make my world and therefore the world of those around me, and therefore the world in general a better place...........

ON THE FLIP SIDE: I don't know if you've noticed, but people you thought were "definitely a certain way" (says the ego trying to be safe from hurt), are changing....opening their hearts, growing in unimaginable ways.  If you want to contribute to this expanding Heaven on Earth, leave room for people to show up differently than you think they are.....even if it may not happen in this lifetime.

PERSONALLY: Recently (in the last 4 months) I have shifted so drastically due to one of the deepest awakenings I have ever had.  The old pattern had me defending myself, proving myself and living with a powerful drive to succeed.  So humbling.  Although I had definitely excavated a lot of it, it wasn't until recently that I got to totally free myself.........I feel so incredibly blessed, humbled and even more in love with my sisters and brothers out there in the world who love me as I am.  

Thank you to all of my friends who have loved me despite my humanness......I strive to always do the same with you.......that is an act of true love, and I am honoured to have you as friends (and you know who you are).  For those that judge me for past behaviours (including myself at times), just know I love you and am wide open to find the way to harmony if it should call you to talk.

Disharmony is temporary, congruence and oneness is available now on the planet........nothing less than love will take us there.

Try that on for a month or five,.....or a lifetime......got anything better to do?  Me neither.

I have met some magical people, some who changed my life, some who gave clarity and others who helped me to heal and integrate....simply from yessing my way through it all....  In this journey, it seems that the issue that is coming up all over the world right now, is money.  The economic system is going through huge change, and if we are opening into an awakened world, it can no longer be about competition, you against me, if I do this I won't have money to do that, or judging how much stuff we do or don't have.......... it's about love, compassion, following our heart no matter what and knowing that it will all be okay........


Your flow:   It's funny, my Mom is going through a health issue, there are some personal things that are difficult, and life is asking me to go, do and be all I came here to be....and assist in ways I did not even think I could.  It takes courage....no mistake about it.....so if you ever think that it is always comfortable, unh unh!  Comfort is simply a judgment of the ego.......  We are in a body on a planet....which means, we are called to make choices.  To the mind, choices may seem hard.......and in reality they are easy to make, they only get complicated when we consider the mind over the heart.  


Let Go of the Oars – Following your what life is presenting you does take courage, and it puts you immediately in the miracle zone.........'either this or that' no longer applies, because the magic of what life brings you is always so much more than what your mind would limit you to.  Everything starts to come in cosmic timing, and life becomes about the wonder and magic of it all............. Have courage......

Recently I re-watched the movie "the Matrix" and I was it with a whole new set of eyes.....a completely different experience than the first time.  Often times we just think our lives "are the way they are" without access to seeing the bigger picture of what is calling us.....the freedom of our true life of creative wonder.

Your flow:   Personally, I love it when I am humbled by life and shown yet another level of how I have been living an undistinguished illusion.  I saw that I was carrying people that I love.........at a much deeper level than I thought.....and it is not my job.  They are in their body, so they can find their own happiness......and I am happy to assist if asked, and if I have something to say that will assist.

Let Go of the Oars – Are you willing to have life "show you" the illusions?  Who are you really? Do you appreciate the teachers that show you the truth, even when it ain't so hot (to your personality)?  hmmmm

I have come to the personal conclusion, that regardless of what my ego's assessment is of what is happening to me.......the beauty of my blossoming life is a direct result of a Universe that is constantly providing me the opportunity to fly even more.....either through showing me a new paradigm, or showing me blessings.

  

SOUL Whispers - When we let our ego govern what our mind does with its assessments of our circumstances.......we are in the jail of our beliefs.  When we let the heart guide our mind, we open to all that Creation has put in front of us.

Let Go of the Oars - If the Universe does indeed have our back, then strategies, judgments and assessments become less and less relevant. I mean, our minds are limited to our experience.....and we are free to the degree we are willing to take the mind far far far (did I say far?) less seriously. When we do, all of a sudden life expands beyond what we know, and becomes a great adventure in the expansion of total bliss!

Oh, the wonder of it all........

Hey there friends...

I was climbing up the side of a mountain yesterday with my friend James, and he was flying up the trail.  He and I were ahead of the pack, and I kept wondering why?  I stayed in the question "how can I best shine my light on this mountain and be of assistance"?  You see, it took me out of the difficulty of the trail, that he is so much younger so how can I keep up and all of the ways my ego tries to justify itself.  A powerful conversation came about........

  

SOUL Whispers -  Simply from asking "how can I emanate more of me for the greater good?", the most incredible conversation happened.  We talked about what a privilege it is to be on the planet right.......  about true leadership...... about  judgment of money..... and how that is shifting even for my friend.... we got to expand consciousness.  I had so much energy to climb that we did 1 more peak!

Let Go of the Oars - Instead of working so hard to figure out what you 'should' do, think about maybe owning the idea that if infinite wisdom put you here, it is interested in you experiencing your own personal Heaven.....because it expands Heaven in general.  Let life flow through you, instead of wrestling it to the ground.........and it will grant you the ride of a lifetime filled with wonder, and the privilege of being of service to humanity.......which you are just by being.....
